India achieved 100% electrification in all households across the country owing to the Saubhagya Scheme. The next concern in question is “How can we make sure that electricity access is completely reliable?”
Smart Power India’s latest report “Electricity Access in India | Benchmarking Distribution Utilities”, in collaboration with NITI Aayog, investigates and establishes the relationship between electricity access, customer satisfaction, the utility’s capacity to deliver quality electricity access, and its financial performance. It provides valuable insights from both the demand side (electricity customers) and the supply side (DISCOMs). Through this study, SPI seeks to understand and provide recommendations for the improved performance of utilities in order to improve customer service delivery.
