As we near COP26, Smart Power India has adopted a #PowerPeoplePlanet approach to highlight conversations and insights on energy access, economic development and energy transition. In this quarter, we amplified the voices of our customers across various platforms by bringing forth the impact of mini-grid electricity on rural enterprises. Our conversations with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and partners such as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and mini-grid developers were focused on spreading awareness about the deployment of DREs and the socio-economic impact on the rural community. We created a platform for the women of rural Odisha to voice their issues and narrate success stories through a community radio led by the Bijulee Didis (Power Sisters). We are ever grateful for your support in making reliable energy access a priority for policymakers, private partners, and customers alike. Happy reading!
