As we near COP26, Smart Power India has adopted a #PowerPeoplePlanet approach to highlight conversations and insights on energy access , economic development and energy transition . In this quarter, we amplified the voices of our customers across various platforms by bringing forth the impact of mini-grid electricity on rural enterprises. Our conversations with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and partners such as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and mini-grid developers were focused on spreading awareness about the deployment of DREs and the socio-economic impact on the rural community. We created a platform for the women of rural Odisha to voice their issues and narrate success stories through a community radio led by the Bijulee Didis (Power Sisters) . We are ever grateful for your support in making reliable energy access a priority for policymakers, private partners, and customers alike. Happy reading!
